When I was a child, I wondered why people were on the earth. I asked the, probably number one thought if not asked question. "Why are we here?" I wanted to know so bad that I asked God constantly. Every time I thought about it I was asking. And like the parable that Jesus told about the persistent widow. (Luke 18:1-5) maybe he repeated the words spoken in verse 5 "...lest by her continual coming she weary me." because one night when I asking for understanding, I heard that 'little' voice we so often hear when God talks to us, say "You are here to learn to love each other."
I was shocked! "Is that it?! But that's so easy!!"
God went on "If you tell one person, and that one person believes with all their heart, soul, and mind as you do right now, life as you know it will change forever." He also told me that it is not as easy as I thought.
It is not easy to love those that hurt us. It is not impossible but it is not easy either.
We can start by simply accepting others.
